For those who are attending.

Shall we bother with dressing up? If it rains and we are sat in the pub all day we will look and feel stupid.

My ideas on timings -

leave LP on 7.30 train with beer.
go up to oak for test match special cooked breakfast
go into ground for statrt of play

on the way back

last train to LP is at 7.20
last train to skippo 11.20

if we can be hardcore we could always go to indie rock club Wire and get the first train back in the morning at 5.55 AM!!

If i dont fall asleep.

Suppose it depend what evryones plans are fot the saturday.

what RussellEastFromGrimsby said.

Agree wholeheartedly with the timetable, we'll have to get a train back to Skipton otherwise we might miss some cricket - is the last one really 19.20? Ask Jean Rodgers, she KNOWS. Departure time depends on drunken-ness, i can guarantee there'll be no all nighter - i'd like to but i just don't have it in me any more. Treasurer Rodgers will worry about the cost, The Big Chairman will get told off by Mini, Spazzy will be asleep at 3pm, you'll be smacked off your tits. I do like the idea of the all night rave up!

I thought about a fancy dress of famous footballers (Gullit, Voller, Keegan, Valderrama etc) that would just involve a retro fitba shirt and a wig...we might not look to stupid then? The retro shirt is a problem though. I reckon we all go dressed as us. It's easier.

could we get 08.05 train from LP? just an idea, no real reason behind it, except a tad longer in bed.

the last train back to LP really is 19.19, so back to skippo at 23.18 is my preferred choice. need a lift from skippo.

i aggree with dave r about the all-nighter idea, plus RussellEastFromGrimsby will have alcohol induced narcolepsy.

as for fancy dress, i can go top gun, army, mexican....as i've got costumes already! and before you suggest it Greasy Greek, no i don't think we should wear our LPFC training tops, or indeed the kits.

what time does cricket kick off? and what time does oak open it's doors? i am looking forward to "test match special" breakfast, even if it is a fry up but renamed!

08.05 from LP gets us to Dirty Leeds for 09.04, surely that's plenty time enough? gonna love wondering in among all these city yuppie types whilst supping the ale at breakfast time! pack of cards for train journey? and if we're bored later on?

how about digging out old fitba tops for the day? (and no it's not because i want to see you all in tight fitting tops, although that will be pleasing on the eye!)

scotty al is going on the sat, and there'll be 13 jimmy savilles!

ha Treasurer Rodgers i love the way you refer to people with jobs as "yuppies".

8.05 train sounds good, just had a look at the weather - light showers and 15C - 15! THIS IS MEANT TO BE SUMMER!

I'll be going dressed as an Arctic explorer.

Test at lords has been (opposite of stumps) at 11am so 8 o'clock train is ok if that is the case.

Ill find out if we can get beer in the pub at that time, what with 24hr liscencing (spell?) it's plausable.

It used to be the case that you could take 4 cans or a wine box in with you to the ground but i reckon they will have abolished that.

It will say the time of play and alcohol allowance on the tickets. Please check them David of the Shaw de Robert for all our information.

RussellEastFromGrimsby, play commences at 11am. I'd like to be there to see the toss (ha) which is usually at about 10.35. Alcohol is a no no these days, not even allowed the four cans! Henceforth we shall only be allowed to drink warm, flat Carlsberg for £4 a pint. Brilliant.

We could try some smuggling, but even then they will only allow in non-alcoholic beveraged in sealed containers (ie that plastic bit is still around the top). So if you want to do smuggling - get your thinking hats on.

On another note, which of you long prestoners are coming to Manc on Sat for Gleds bday at the dogs?
