I'll be training it from Manc, where there are roughly 24 trains available. Anyone stuck for a place to stop can stay at min (Sir Norbert of Stellings's, as i'll be staying there, which i shall imagine is currently news to you, Steve)

Ref Scotty birthday bash

Was looking at travelodge Dirty Leeds centre yesterday, twin room for 39 squids (the currency of grimsby) so 20 squids each to not have to go home early or sit in the train station all night. Seemed reasonable.

it is reasonable, however from experience they will probably charge you £200 for cleaning non existent coffee stains from the walls after you've left. and not send you any evidence of said stains.

Just be careful, that's what i say...they're robbing bastards.

I'll just stop in manc, trains back roughly every hour from half 12. Cashback.

More aimed at those that cannot get home.

According to thetrainline.com and national rail enquiries (sp?) online the Manc train will leave at 23.45 or 3.15 - where are you finding info to the contrary?

Make sure you dont miss the train though, your not too good at trains when drunk! (Dont rise to my petty jokes Dave!)

The train time i was quoting were because i was busy making an ass out of u and me in thinking the partay was on the Friday. I was wrong, i shall re-assess my plans, i may need a room. Or some Pro-plus to stay up past 3. :shock:

I'm not good with trains full stop. I once boarded a train from York to "Dirty Leeds". Ended up in Darlington.

In other news, i think i'm back home this weekend, so hopefully the match will be on and i can write another whoop-ass reportage.

Or sub, if numbers are sufficiently hit by the credit crunch.
