AFC Padiham game has been postponed due to a fixture clash with our grounds parent club, Smellyfield Sports.

Postby Scottyal on Thu Oct 02, 2008 4:05 pm

Evening all,

I'll send another email out and get monsieur Webmaster to update the news bit but I can now confirm my 30th venue will now be the Mojo Bar in Dirty Leeds city centre (has its own private room and bar).

Thanks again all

Invites - Gledders/Palmer

Postby Scottyal on Thu Oct 02, 2008 4:07 pm

Mr East,

Can you gauge if Rosie and Gledders can get some potential flyers/invites created so I can get these to everyone who may be coming?

Good-Oh,

I like the Mojo bar in Manchester, i trust it is the same in Dirty Leeds.

They have a nice jukebox thing and also serve Boston Ale (i think) in mine.

Oh Yeah and RussellEastFromGrimsby, what hotel you looking at? Travelodge near the station? £60 seems as cheap as you can get for a double.

Hilton's £69, might go there.

Right-o.

Trains from LP to Dirty Leeds for dis are at just before 6 to get in at 7 or from Smellyfield at 4.12pm. If its a home game or no game thats do-able. If were playing away it'll have to be the 6 o'clock jobby.

Ill give them orangey-yellow people a ring see what crack would be about some small mini-bus thingy and costs.

David Robert can you be Shaw!

Whats your plans? Are you still gonna go from manc? Ill take you to clitheroe for the train back to manc on Sunday if needs be.

Alternative i guess is to come back to LP on sat, watch footy, might even get a run out if you beg nicely, then travel on mass with the rest of us to and from not so Dirty Leeds.

Leave that at your door.
